Surah Name: Fussilat Meaning: The Explanation (Explained in Detail)
Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba fa(i)khtulifa feehi walawla kalimatun sabaqat min rabbika laqudiya baynahum wainnahum lafee shakkin minhu mureeb(in) And assuredly We-SWT vouchsafed the book to Musa-AS and there arose difference concerning it. And had not a word gone forth from your Rabb-SWT the affair would have been decreed between them. And verily they are in regard thereto in doubt and dubitating. (41:45) |
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَسَاء فَعَلَيْهَا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ Man AAamila salihan falinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha wama rabbuka bithallamin lilAAabeed(i) Whoever works righteously it is for his own soul, and whoever works evil it is against it. And your Rabb-SWT is not an oppressor to His-SWT bondmen. (41:46) |
Ilayhi yuraddu AAilmu a(l)ssaAAati wama takhruju min thamaratin min akmamiha wama tahmilu min ontha wala tadaAAu illa biAAilmihi wayawma yunadeehim ayna shurakaee qaloo athannaka ma minna min shaheed(in) To Him-SWT Alone is referred the knowledge of the Hour. And not a fruit comes forth from its knops, nor does a female conceive or bring forth but with His-SWT Knowledge. And on the Day when He-SWT will call unto them: Where are My-SWT associates? They will say: We assure You-SWT , none of us is a witness thereof. (41:47) |
وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَدْعُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَظَنُّوا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ Wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yadAAoona min qablu wathannoo ma lahum min mahees(in) And those whom they had been calling upon before will fail them, and they will perceive that there is no refuge for them. (41:48) |
لَا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنسَانُ مِن دُعَاء الْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَؤُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ La yasamu alinsanu min duAAai alkhayri wain massahu a(l)shsharru fayaoosun qanoot(un) Man is never wearied of praying for his worldly good, and if an evil visits him, he is despondent, despairing. (41:49) |
Walain athaqnahu rahmatan minna min baAAdi darraa massathu layaqoolanna hatha lee wama athunnu a(l)ssaAAata qaimatan walain rujiAAtu ila rabbee inna lee AAindahu lalhusna falanunabbianna allatheena kafaroo bima AAamiloo walanutheeqannahum min AAathabin ghaleeth(in) And if, after an affliction has visited him, We-SWT cause him to taste of Our-SWT Mercy, he is sure to say: This is my own, and do not think that the Hour will ever arise, and were to be brought back to my Rabb-SWT , surely there will be for me an excellent reward from Him-SWT . But We-SWT shall surely declare to those who disbelieve what they have worked, and make them taste a rough torment. (41:50) |
Waitha anAAamna AAala alinsani aAArada wanaa bijanibihi waitha massahu a(l)shsharru fathoo duAAain AAareed(in) And when We-SWT show favour to man, he turns aside and withdraws on his sides, and when evil touches him he is full of prolonged prayer. (41:51) |
Qul araaytum in kana min AAindi Allahi thumma kafartum bihi man adallu mimman huwa fee shiqaqin baAAeed(in) Say you: Think! If it is really from Allah-SWT and you reject it, who is further astray than one who is in schism far-off? (41:52) |
Sanureehim ayatina fee alafaqi wafee anfusihim hatta yatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu awalam yakfi birabbika annahu AAala kulli shayin shaheed(un) Soon We-SWT shall show them Our-SWT Signs in the universe and in their own selves until it becomes manifest to them that it is the truth. Does it not suffice in regard to your Rabb-SWT , that He-SWT is Witness over everything? (41:53) |
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَاء رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطٌ Ala innahum fee miryatin min liqai rabbihim ala innahu bikulli shayin muheet(un) Lo! They are in doubt concerning their meeting with their Rabb-SWT . Lo! He-SWT is the Encompass of everything. (41:54) |
