Waith qulna lilmalaikati osjudoo liadama fasajadoo illa ibleesa qala aasjudu liman khalaqta teena(n) And recall when We-SWT said to the angels: bow down before Aadam-AS. So they bowed, but Iblis did not; he said: shall I bow to one whom You-SWT have created of clay? (17:61) |
Qala araaytaka hatha allathee karramta AAalayya lain akhkhartani ila yawmi alqiyamati laahtanikanna thurriyyatahu illa qaleela(n) Iblis said: bethink You-SWT : this one whom You-SWT have honoured above me? If You-SWT defer, me till the Day of Judgement, I will surely seize his progeny save a few. (17:62) |
قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمْ جَزَاء مَّوْفُورًا Qala ithhab faman tabiAAaka minhum fainna jahannama jazaokum jazaan mawfoora(n) Allah-SWT said: be you gone; whoever of them follows you, Hell is your requital, an ample requital. (17:63) |
Wa(i)stafziz mani istataAAta minhum bisawtika waajlib AAalayhim bikhaylika warajlika washarikhum fee alamwali wa(a)lawladi waAAidhum wamayaAAiduhumu a(l)shshaytanu illa ghuroora(n) And unsettle them whoever of them you can with your voice, and summon against them your horse and your foot, share with them riches and children and make promise to them, and Satan promises not but to delude. (17:64) |
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلاً Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhim sultanun wakafa birabbika wakeela(n) Over My-SWT bondsmen you have no authority, and your-SW Rabb-SWT suffices as a Guardian. (17:65) |
Rabbukumu allathee yuzjee lakumu alfulka fee albahri litabtaghoo min fadlihi innahu kana bikum raheema(n) Your Rabb-SWT is He-SWT Who-SWT speeds for you the ship in the sea that you may seek His-SWT Grace; verily He-SWT is to you ever Merciful. (17:66) |
Waitha massakumu a(l)ddurru fee albahri dalla man tadAAoona illa iyyahu falammanajjakum ila albarri aAAradtum wakana alinsanu kafoora(n) And when there touches you a distress on the sea, those you call upon fall away except He-SWT Alone, then when He-SWT delivers you on the land you turn away, and man is ever ungrateful. (17:67) |
Afaamintum an yakhsifa bikum janiba albarri aw yursila AAalaykum hasiban thumma la tajidoo lakum wakeela(n) Are you then secure that He-SWT will not cause a side of land to swallow you up, or send over you a sand storm, and then you will not find for yourselves a protector? (17:68) |
Am amintum an yuAAeedakum feehi taratan okhra fayursila AAalaykum qasifan mina a(l)rreehi fayughriqakum bima kafartum thumma la tajidoo lakum AAalaynabihi tabeeAAa(n) Or, are you secure that He-SWT will not send you back therein another time and send upon you a gale of wind and drown you for your having disbelieved, so that you will not find for yourselves an avenger against Us-SWT ? (17:69) |
Walaqad karramna banee adama wahamalnahum fee albarri wa(a)lbahri warazaqnahum mina a(l)ttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala katheerin mimman khalaqna tafdeela(n) And assuredly We-SWT have honoured the Children of Adam, and have borne them on the land and the sea, and We-SWT have provided them with clean things, and We-SWT have preferred them with a preferment over many of them whom We-SWT have created. (17:70) |
