Surah Name: Ash-Shura' Meaning: The Council
Hameem Ha Mim (42:1) |
AAaynseenqaf 'Ain. Sin. Qaf. (42:2) |
كَذَلِكَ يُوحِي إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ Kathalika yoohee ilayka waila allatheena min qablika Allahu alAAazeezu alhakeem(u) Thus reveals to you-SW and to those before you-SW Allah-SWT, the Mighty, the Wise. (42:3) |
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ Lahu ma fee a(l)ssamawati wama fee alardi wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheem(u) His-SWT is whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He-SWT is the Exalted, the Grand. (42:4) |
Takadu a(l)ssamawatu yatafattarna min fawqihinna wa(a)lmalaikatu yusabbihoona bihamdi rabbihim wayastaghfiroona liman fee alardi ala inna Allaha huwa alghafooru a(l)rraheem(u) Well-nigh might be rent the heavens from above them. And the angels hallow the Praise of their Rabb-SWT and ask His-SWT Forgiveness for those on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah-SWT; He-SWT is the Forgiver, the Merciful. (42:5) |
Wa(a)llatheena ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaa Allahu hafeethun AAalayhim wama anta AAalayhim biwakeel(in) And those who take patrons beside Him-SWT -Allaah-SWT is Warden over them, and you-SW are not guardian over them (42:6) |
Wakathalika awhayna ilayka quranan AAarabiyyan litunthira omma alqura waman hawlaha watunthira yawma aljamAAi la rayba feehi fareequn fee aljannati wafareequn fee a(l)ssaAAeer(i) And thus We-SWT have revealed to you-SW a Quran in Arabic, that you-SW may warn thereby the mother-town and those around it, and that you-SW may warn them of a Day of Assembling whereof there is no doubt. And of mankind a party will be in the Garden, and a party in the Blaze. (42:7) |
Walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalahum ommatan wahidatan walakin yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi wa(al)ththalimoona ma lahum min waliyyin wala naseer(in) And had Allaah-SWT willed, He-SWT would have made them all a single community. But He-SWT causes whom He-SWT will to enter into His-SWT Mercy. And the ungodly! For them there shall be no patron or helper. (42:8) |
Ami ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaa fa(A)llahu huwa alwaliyyu wahuwa yuhyee almawta wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeer(un) Have they taken patrons besides Him-SWT ? But Allaah-SWT ! He-SWT is the Patron He-SWT quickens the dead, and He-SWT is Potent over everything (42:9) |
