bismillah

Wa(a)llatheena kafaroo biayati Allahi waliqaihi olaika yaisoo min rahmatee waolaika lahum AAathabun aleem(un)

Those who disbelieve in the Signs of Allah-SWT and in their meeting with Him-SWT , they shall despair of My-SWT Mercy, and they! Theirs shall be an afflictive torment.

(29:23)

Fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo oqtuloohu aw harriqoohu faanjahu Allahu mina a(l)nnari inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yuminoon(a)

Then the answer of his-AS people was nothing but that they said. Slay him-AS, or burn him-AS. Then Allah-SWT rescued him-AS from the fire: herein are Signs for a people who believe.

(29:24)

Waqala innama ittakhathtum min dooni Allahi awthanan mawaddata baynikum fee alhayati a(l)ddunya thumma yawma alqiyamati yakfuru baAAdukum bibaAAdin wayalAAanu baAAdukum baAAdan wamawakumu a(l)nnaru wama lakum min nasireen(a)

And he-AS said: You have taken images instead of Allah-SWT out of affection between you in the life of this world; but on the Day of Resurrection you will deny each other and you shall curse each other, and your resort shall be the Fire, and you shall have no helpers.

(29:25)

Faamana lahu lootun waqala innee muhajirun ila rabbee innahu huwa alAAazeezu alhakeem(u)

And Lut-AS believed in him-AS. And he-AS said: Verily I will flee to my Rabb-SWT ; verily He-SWT is the Mighty, the Wise.

(29:26)

Wawahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba wajaAAalna fee thurriyyatihi a(l)nnubuwwata wa(a)lkitaba waataynahu ajrahu fee a(l)ddunya wainnahu fee alakhirati lamina a(l)ssaliheen(a)

And We-SWT bestowed on him Ishaq-AS and Ya’qub-AS,  and We-SWT assigned prophecy and the Book to be among his-AS posterity, and We-SWT vouchsafed to him-AS his reward in this world, and in the Hereafter he-AS shall be of the righteous

(29:27)

Walootan ith qala liqawmihi innakum latatoona alfahishata ma sabaqakum biha min ahadin mina alAAalameen(a)

And Lut-AS! Recall when he-AS said to his-AS people: you commit an indecency in which none has preceded you in the worlds.

(29:28)

Ainnakum latatoona a(l)rrijala wataqtaAAoona a(l)ssabeela watatoona fee nadeekumu almunkara fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo itina biAAathabi Allahi in kunta mina a(l)ssadiqeen(a)

You go in indeed to males, and you rob on the highway, and you commit what is disreputable in your assembly. The answer of his-AS people was none but that they said: Bring you-AS Allah-SWT’s chastisement on us, if you-AS are of the truthful.

(29:29)

Qala rabbi onsurnee AAala alqawmi almufsideen(a)

He-AS said: Rabb-SWT ! Give me victory over the corrupt people.

(29:30)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

The reason why infidels are refusing to accept Islam and obey Allah-SWT is that they neither believe in the Doomsday nor in the Resurrection. Those guilty of this grave crime are indeed deprived of His-SWT Mercy altogether and an extremely painful punishment awaits them.

When the infidels were humbled in reasoning, they planned to murder Prophet Ibrahim-AS in a gruesome manner. They decided to fling him-AS into the fire and burn him-AS alive. But Allah-SWT protected him-AS from the fire. For the believers this event is an outstanding example of standing firm in the face of distress worked by the infidels.

Consensus On Evil Is For Vested Interests

Prophet Ibrahim-AS told his-AS people that their apparent unity and consensus over idolatry and idol temples was purely for worldly benefits. Those who unite for an evil cause always have their own vested interests, which may or may not be achieved. But it must be remembered that on the Day of Reckoning they will not even tolerate the sight of one another; rather would deny mutual friendship altogether. They would all be pushed into Hell and shall find no helping friend. It is now that they can ward off evil, for it would be of no avail then.

From the entire nation it was only Prophet Lut-AS who believed. Prophet Ibrahim-AS told his-AS people that he-AS had been commanded to migrate from their settlements by Allah-SWT to a place where no ungodly society could hinder the Cause of Allah-SWT . According to the Commentators this was the first migration in the Cause of Allah-SWT that took place in history. So he-AS set out accompanied by wife Hadhrat Sarah and Prophet Lut-AS.

Migration In Allah-SWT ’s Cause Is Rewarded In This World Too

Allah-SWT blessed him-AS with better relatives and family; sons like Ishaq-AS and Yaqub-AS. They not only were themselves raised as Prophets-AS but also became the progenitors of many Prophets-AS to come including the final Prophet-SW raised from the lineage of Prophet Isma’il-AS, the elder son of Prophet Ibrahim-AS. What a unique reward he-AS was blessed with in this world, while in the Akhirah he-AS shall be amongst His-SWT distinguished servants.

Lut-AS was also raised as a Prophet when his-AS nation resorted to immorality. He-AS forbade them from indulging in lewdness, no one had ever practised before in the world. They engaged in homosexuality, robbed others, and discussed their evil acts with great pride in the gatherings, by itself a great evil. His-AS people, humbled by reasoning, finally told him-AS to invoke the promised doom if he-AS was really Allah-SWT’s Prophet and categorically refused his-AS counsels. It was then that Prophet Lut-AS raised his-AS hands in prayer “O Allah-SWT ’ Help me against this wicked lot.”
