SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Allah-SWT had favoured the Quraish. According to Hadith, all of them enjoyed superiority. Blessed with great endurance they were accustomed to travel long distances both during summer and winter. Trade being the only means of earning livelihood, Allaah-SWT gifted them with a natural inclination towards travelling. So the Quraish should worship the Rabb-SWT of the K'abah, Who-SWT in response to the prayer of Prophet Ibrahim-AS, made Makkah a city of abundance and the K'abah, a House of security and peace. It was honoured by the infidels and the polytheists alike who also did not harm anyone within its precincts.
